Hands-On Medical Treatment
For Pain, Nervous System Regulation,
and Restricted Movement

Personalized care that is attentive and unhurried.

Meg Rothman, DO

Osteopathic Manual Medicine is physician-delivered hands-on treatment. Osteopathy uses the concept of ‘listening hands’ to describe how we gather information about what’s happening inside of you. I sense temperature, tissue texture, muscle tension, connective tissue motion, and breathing patterns with my hands. This guides where I treat and what techniques I use, responding moment to moment. My practice is gentle and subtle. My goal is for us to find ease of motion, stability, easy breathing, unrestricted circulation, and a sense of safety in your body.

  • Nervous System Regulation The foundation of all care. Through gentle, hands-on evaluation, treatment supports a shift out of persistent stress patterns and toward regulation, safety, and rest.
  • Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome & Related Conditions Supporting stability and reducing strain in the setting of connective tissue laxity.
  • Dysautonomia Care for autonomic nervous system imbalance, often experienced as fatigue, rapid heartbeat, brain fog, temperature sensitivity, and difficulty tolerating upright posture.
  • Chronic Pain Treatment focuses on interrupting the cycle of persistent pain signaling while addressing underlying structural strain, helping reduce sensitivity and change how pain is experienced.
  • Headaches Treatment focuses on areas of tension and restriction in the neck, jaw, and cranial tissues that contribute to headaches and migraines.
  • Neck and Back Pain Hands-on care for neck and back pain, both acute and persistent.
  • Injuries & Accidents Releasing protective tension and supporting the body’s recovery following injury.
